We got our "Places Everyone" email from Beth at Great Wall today. We're now in translation. After that is Pending Review, Review, Pending Referral and...a long time later...Referral.
According to the email, Great Wall will receive the next referral group from CCAA in early September, and they will have experienced a 31 month wait.
31 months. Wow.

Diane: in a previous post you mentioned having a sample letter for the physicians letter you needed for your dossier. Would you mind posting this sample? My husband and I are adopting from Nicragua, and we need to have this done. We aren't going through an agency (we're doing the paperwork ourselves) and I can't find anything helpful when I google for one. We'd really appreciate it! Good luck as you continue this journey!

Wow - a 31-month wait currently. We waited 21, and that seemed eternal. Well, especially when we thought it would be 8. But we got our sweet girl and that's how long it took to get her - and I would not change a thing.
